Improving Cardiac Health for the District of Columbia Seniors

Delmarva Foundation (DF) is a partner in the "Million Hearts" campaign, a joint initiative of CMS, the American Heart Association, and other national stakeholders designed to improve the heart health of Americans. Million Hearts strives to reduce cardiac risk factors, such as hypertension, smoking, and high cholesterol and increase heart-healthy behaviors, such as aspirin therapy for selected patients. Learn more about local projects to improve care for patients at the greatest risk for a heart attack.
